People. Understood.
When your people are at their best, your business performs at its best.
That's not a coincidence. It's something we can create

JWC works with owners and senior leaders who want to get more from their most important asset — the people in their business. We combine deep expertise in human behaviour with over two decades of real-world HR and organisational experience to help you understand your people properly, and build the conditions where they — and your business — can perform at their best.
No off-the-shelf solutions. No methodology pushed regardless of fit. Just genuine understanding, honestly applied.
Every business has a history. Decisions that made sense at the time, structures built under pressure, culture that grew organically from the people who built the place. We respect that. Before anything else, we take the time to understand the journey — what it's taken to get here, what you're proud of, and what should be protected at all cost.
Then we listen widely. Across levels, across functions, sometimes beyond the organisation entirely. Not because anyone isn't listening already — but because an outside perspective surfaces things that don't always make it into the normal flow of conversation.
From there we look at the problem together, making sure we're solving for the right outcome. What we bring back is usually simpler than you'd expect — small, well-placed changes that give you real wins against what actually matters.
Short, specific psychometric assessments that answer real business questions. Not personality for its own sake, but genuine insight into whether your people have the psychological conditions to deliver what your business specifically needs from them — right now, in the context you're actually operating in.
Workshops, leadership programmes and learning curricula designed around how people actually change — not how training catalogues are organised. Everything we build starts with a genuine understanding of your people and your context. Because development that doesn't fit rarely sticks.
We work with leaders who are serious about their people — whether that's a CEO who wants to understand why performance isn't where it should be, an HR director looking for a genuine thinking partner, or a line leader with a team challenge and the autonomy to do something about it. What they have in common is that they want real answers, not comfortable ones.

Jenny has spent over two decades working at the intersection of human behaviour and organisational performance — in senior HR and OD roles across the UK, the Middle East, and Europe, and now through JWC, the consulting practice she founded to do things the way she'd always believed they should be done.
She holds a Masters in Psychology, is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and a Chartered Member of the CIPD. But the credential she'd put first is simpler than any of those: a genuine, unshakeable belief that work doesn't have to be miserable — and that when it isn't, businesses perform better.
Originally from Scotland and now based in Poland, Jenny has worked with organisations across four continents. She brings the same thing to every engagement: curiosity, honesty, and a deep respect for the humans — and the history — behind every business she works with.

Clare is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, bringing 19 years of experience at the forefront of applied psychology across diverse industries and sectors.
Clare specialises in the science of sustainable change — understanding how people shift behaviours, manage emotion, and overcome the challenges that stand between where they are and where they want to be. She has a particular gift for making psychological insight practical, helping organisations turn knowledge into action and observable change in how individuals and teams actually work together.
In her work with JWC, Clare has supported multinational clients through change programmes, leadership development and business transformation — bringing rigour, warmth and a sharp eye for the human dynamics that determine whether change sticks or quietly fades.

JWC works with a curated network of specialist consultants brought in according to the specific needs of each engagement. All are either qualified psychologists, certified coaches or senior HR professionals. We don't staff projects with generalists — we bring the right expertise, every time.

Twenty years of working inside organisations across four continents will teach you things no qualification can. I've sat at tables where the big decisions get made. I've seen what good leadership does to a business and what careless leadership costs one. I've worked with companies at their best and at their most difficult, and I've learned to tell the difference between a people problem and a business problem — which is usually that they're the same problem.
JWC exists because I believe, without reservation, that businesses which want to be sustainable need to build sustainable people practices. Not as an HR initiative. As a fundamental business strategy. When your people are genuinely well — purposeful, connected, recognised, energised — your business performs. When they're not, everything costs more than it should and nothing quite works the way it's supposed to.
That belief isn't theoretical. It's built from two decades of evidence, some of it hard won.
